About Premier Martial Arts Austin

The instructors at PREMIER MARTIAL ARTS began holding Austin Self-Defense classes in 1984, and have since successfully taught thousands of students, many to the coveted "Black Belt" and beyond.

We have been named one of the "Top 200 Martial Arts Schools in America," and are especially honored to be awarded "Teaching Excellence." Our Instructor Team is skilled not just in the martial arts - they impart the Leadership and skills to bring out the best in you, or your child.

Master Instructor Steven Doss

Steven Doss first began his martial arts training at a young age, and has since fought and competed throughout the world. He sought out and trained with many of the world's best martial arts Instructors, and has earned and been awarded Advanced Black Belt Ranking in 5 different styles.

In 1979 Doss was awarded his original Black Belt from the legendary Demetrius "Golden Greek" Havanas. The "Greek" is regarded as one of the greatest martial arts competitors and instructors of all time.

We offer a variety of specialized programs for all ages - to achieve physical fitness, self-defense and martial arts skills, and success and achievement in the martial arts.
